We have worked with multiple clients, including the Malaysian Agricultural Research and Development Institute (MARDI), to develop computer vision systems to automate and optimize farming processes for various crops including pineapples and oil palm.
Automated Pineapple Planting
Our solution was developed as an edge-device to be integrated with an automated pineapple planter to monitor and optimize its performance. Our system uses computer vision to determine if the saplings are planted correctly, and alerts the operator in real-time if misplanted saplings are detected. Session statistics are then sent to the operator at the end of each session to allow for further analysis and optimization.



Automated Pineapple Harvesting
Our solution is designed to be integrated with an automated harvester and uses computer vision to grade harvested pineapples by size and quality in real-time.


Automated Oil Palm Ripeness Grading
Our solution automates the process of oil palm ripeness grading - an important, yet conventionally slow and expensive process due to the human expertise required. We developed a novel methodology that allows our system to maintain a high classification accuracy even under challenging lighting conditions.
